INDIANIZER
is an Italian band formed in 2013 and hailing from Turin, Italy. The band consists of Riccardo Salvini (lead vocals), Salvatore Marano (synthesizer, electric piano, electric organ, vocals), Gabriele Maggiorotto (drums, percussion), Massimiliano Zaccone (synthesizer, percussion, drum machine, vocals) and Marco Gervino (electric guitar, vocals).
Indianizer is a band devoted just as much to the dancefloor as it is to melodies and experimentation. Blending cosmic sounds, krautrock, house beats, percussive polyrhythms and tribalism into eccentric pop songs, Indianizer have created a unique sound that could be defined as “psych-tropical beat”.
Over the years, the Turin-based quintet has played virtually everywhere in Europe, participating in major festivals such as Transmusicales and Eurosonic and sharing the stage with internationally renowned artists such as King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Black Lips, Fat White Family, Elektro Guzzi, Hailu Mergia, Os Mutantes, Crimi, Tamikrest, Dj Gruff, Gianluca Petrella and Lino Capra Vaccina.
