JYE-HWEI LIN (Taiwan) is an independent dancer, performer, dance maker and teacher. Her artistic path focus on live performances and collaborations. She work for dance productions both for stages, theatre as well as experimental and participatory formats.

As a dancer, she has worked with various choreographers, directors, media artists, photographer and fashion designers, participating in many interdisciplinary projects. Being a dancer and a collaborator, has enable her to continuously putting in thoughts/ideas and creating movement vocabularies to facilitate the development of the work from within.

Later, the exploration of somatic practices has further engage her research on body in relationship between movement, sensations, body intuition and the arts. She began the practice of Klein Technique with Barbara Mahler in New York City and Feldenkrais Method with various practitioners.

As a choreographer, she has been making work with Balletto Teatro di Torino (Italy), Netzwerk AKS (Austria), Korea National University of Arts and WeArt Performing Arts Platform (Taiwan).

As an dance educator, she taught at Korea National University of Arts (KNUA) in 2017-2019 as a guess professor, Mason Gross school of the Arts (Rutgers), SUNY Purchase college, Experimental Film Virginia , Kahawi Dance theater and etc.
